Can you link a -い and a -な adjective? If so, how?
Do you mean one after another?
The examples are with two な- adjectives or with two い-adjectives. Are there any cases with one of each?
Sure! As long as you conjugate the first one into て form (で for na adjectives, くて for i adjective), you can put any kind of adjective after that!
彼 (かれ)は 元 気 (げんきで 強 (つよ)い
He is energetic and strong.
彼 (かれ)は 強 (つよ)くて 元 気 (げんき)
He is strong and energetic.
... Stupid question, but, how do I know if it's a Na or I adjective?
There is no 100% sure-fire way to know without memorizing it for each adjective.
However, there are a couple of things that will get you 95% of the way there:
1. Doesn't end with い = な adjective
2. Ends with い = **probably** adjective.
3. (advanced) - if you know the kanji form, and the word ends in い, but the い is part of a kanji reading, then な adjective (example: 綺 麗 ・きれい)
... Stupid question, but, how do I know if it's a Na or I adjective?
Knowing how the words are written with kanji is what gives away whether it is an い or な adjective. Does it end in anything other than い ? Then it's な e.g. 好き/すき No kana after the kanji ? Then it's な e.g. 綺麗/きれい Is the adjective just the stem of a verb ending in う ? Then it's な e.g. 嫌い/きらい (see 嫌う ) Otherwise it's い e.g. 甘い/あまい If in doubt you can always check the dictionary here, which will tell you what kind of adjective it is.
If you don't have a dictionary, and you don't know how the words are written in kanji, then your best bet is to guess that adjectives that end in い are い adjectives and the rest are な adjectives.
I found this chart helpful , it is from learn japanese with yuko

...That's not actually accurate though, 'cause of words like 嫌 い.
The post above is more accurate, though there might still be exceptions.
Question, how do you combine て form with negative adjectives ? For example if I want to say "A not famous and calm town"

Negative adjectives conjugate like い-adjectives - you drop the い in くない/じゃない and add くて
So くない in て-form would be くなくて and じゃない would change into じゃなくて.
For example "a not famous and calm town" would be 「有 名 じゃなくて静 かな町 」
