Does the pitch accent of るい change depending on whether we’re talking about bright lighting or someone’s cheerful disposition?

the pitch accent of るい does not change depending on whether you mean bright (light) or cheerful (personality); In both meanings the pitch accent stays the same.
In Standard Tokyo Japanese, るい is typically a heiban () word.
so Its :
あ(L)か(H)る(H)い(H)

I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but just as a note: please do not copy/paste LLM responses into renshuu.

This image shows two different pitch accents, though. Does anyone know if they’re used to differenciate between homophones or if they’re regional variations?

It means its an alternate accent pitch, so you can use either of them and I think it also depends on regional variations
