When activated in Experimental (Settings), this will add the highlighted option to your Vocabulary schedules
This will create a kanji schedule that attaches itself to the vocabulary, and automatically populates itself with kanji found in the words from the vocab schedule.
Settings exist to let you choose how many (based on level) of the kanji you want to have added.
At the moment, it will only add kanji for vocab that you've studied. So if you study a word for the first time in the schedule, and it has relevant kanji, those will be added into the kanji schedule. Of course, it also handles studied words prior to the schedule being made.
Things to test
The kanji schedule should be fully aware of everything that happens to the vocab schedule, so any of the following should immediately update the kanji schedule:
1. Adding/removing lists to the vocab schedule.
Additionally, adding individual terms to the vocab schedule, or studying a word for the first time will also adjust the schedule: these changes will take place within a minute, but typically within a few seconds.
So, what I'm most interested in hearing about is if the kanji schedule does not seem to have (or have and should not) any particular kanji. For example, a bug report might look like this:
A. I added the word 漢字 (which I've studied before) to my v schedule.
B. I checked the k helper schedule, but 漢 is not present in the list.
I've encountered a bug like the example above. From a third schedule, I used the plus button to move 侘び to my vocab schedule and 侘 was not added to the kanji helper. For clarification, the kanji helper is set to add all kanji.
I thought to check 侘び in the dictionary and found the version of the word I'm studying is not the "main" one, but is listed under the "Also written as:" section (arrow points to the one I'm referring to in picture below). This may or may not be relevant.
So, it looks like you're referring to both the main term and the alternate reading. Mastery levels are not shared between these terms, so while you have mastery data on the first one, there isn't any on the secondary term, and so the kanji is not added for it.
Ah, I see the difference in kanji now; subtle. So it looks like I typed 侘び in my first post when I should have typed 佗び because that's the version I studied. I still don't see 佗 in the kanji helper though, should I?
もんだい、does the kanji helper system only takes the kanji that is commonly written and not kanji that is rarely written? As you can see from the picture below, you can see that the word ページ has a rare kanji. (I enabled the "Show kanji regardless if it's commonly written in kana" Setting) And as a result, even if I set the kanji helper to take all kanji, it didn't added 頁
I made a helper schedule set to all kanji, studied a new word in the main schedule that had kanji not present in the helper schedule, and the helper schedule did not gain any new kanji. One of the terms in question is 光栄, if that helps any. It doesn't seem to be the same problem as above, since I only see one instance of that word in the dictionary?
(Thank you for adding this by the way!! Very excited)

Well, I fixed it by rebuilding the schedule, so the problem is with the studying of the new term. Do you mind if I revert 光栄 back to unknown, then try studying it to see if I can replicate the issue?
Edit: I think I see the problem. Will update when I have a fix.
Edit2: Fixed, update will go live Monday, or Tuesday at the latest.
I've made two new schedules and added kanji helper to them. Originally I set both helpers to "All kanji". After learning some words normally and setting "already know this" on some no kanji was added to either. I changed the setting to "Up to N4" in the helpers and some kanji was added immediately. After learning these kanji, I changed one of the helpers to "All kanji", which added some more to it. However, no kanji has any readings enabled. I have the "No extra readings" setting, when should readings for learned words get enabled? I even reviewed some words after learning the kanji with the kanji focused vectors, but that didn't add readings either.
FYI, I reset my account just before doing this, so all terms should be new to me in renshuu right now, except the freshly studied ones.
Thanks for the report. I'm going to need full specifics on schedule names, terms added, expected kanji, etc. Without the specifics, it's a bit too broad for me to be able to look into it.

Understandable.
Report from my study session from today: Schedule name: Words Terms newly studied: 万(マン), 匹(ひき), 分(フン), 頁(ページ), 三(サン) Expected kanji: 万, 分, 三 The expected kanji didn't appear in the kanji helper. I didn't change any settings this time.
Schedule name: Kanji for Words Terms reviewed: 質, 問, 間, 時, 思, 別, 金 Expected readings: シツ from 質問, モン from 質問, カン from 時間, ジ from 時間, おも from 思う, べつ from 別に, かね from 御金 No readings were marked as studied, and the review only asked for definitions. I studied these words when I posted my previous message.
Schedule name: 魔王城でおやすみ Terms newly studied: 言う, 姫(ひめ), 人(ひと), 国(くに), 頂く(いただく) Expected kanji: 言, 姫, 人, 国, 頂 The expected kanji didn't appear in the kanji helper. No settings were changed either. And in the kanji helper, no readings are enabled for any term.
I hope this is enough info for you, thanks for looking into it!
As to the kanji not appearing in the kanji helper - I reset the schedules, and they did appear. So the issue appears to be not in the building of the helper, but in the adding of kanji when new words are learned. I added some additional logging, so I I'd like you to let me know the next time you learn some new words with kanji in them, so I can see if the logging turned anything up.
As to the reading issue, I do see the missing data, but am not 100% as to why it's not yet appearing. If it's ok, can I take one of the new words (let's say 言う and 質問), mark them back to unlearned, then try going through a private list and see if I can replicate the issue?
