Questions/Discussion

This page starts with a statement about how some words don’t use the “above conjugations”, but there’s nothing above it. Is this supposed to go with another page? I looked this up because I thought I remembered learning that potential form could also be used to show respect, but I’m not sure what that form is called in this app.

I believe for most verbs you write お~ honorific prefix before the verb. Only for the given verbs do you have to substitute a unique new verb.

I think you should include だ~でござる, for form's sake if nothing else (especially since でございます is used with some regularity even if the casual isn't.)

You're right; to be honest, this page needs to be redone from top-to-bottom, as there is quite a long of sonkeigo info that needs to be presented.

I don't get why there's the conjugation box. Isn't that box just explaining how to turn verbs into their passive forms?

the passive form is very often used as the honorific form: honorifics are either the special forms (in the top box), passive forms, or お+(verb stem)+になる (for example お急ぎになる for いそく)

I'm new at keigo. In above list there are: 来る/くる おいでになる and 来る/くる 見える/みえる. Is the second one also correct?

Hmm - bottom line probably shouldn't have been in there to begin with!
