こんにちわ!リリーウです!

Japanese Level: currently in the middle of Genki 1, so N5
Japanese Focus: Grammar and Kanji
Study Time(s): Around 1-2 hours, mostly during the afternoon
About You: I am currently 21 years old and I am aiming to reach N1 by the time I finish college (in two years) but I understand that is dreaming very high lmao. I live in the GMT+1 timezone and I study japanese because of future job opportunities and, also, to read manga and watch anime in it's native language. I enjoy playing games, japanese culture, reading classics and doing crochet. I am hoping to find a study buddy around my age where we can push each other to study and be determined :D

よろしくおねがいします!

Hello people,

Japanese Level: Just took the N5 exam and I’m going to begin studying for the N4. Ideally I’d prefer someone in the same situation.

Focus: I’m primarily looking for someone to practice speaking with since I’ll be going to Japan for some months beginning in October. Since I am self studying I haven’t had much practice on that front other than reading things out loud by myself. It would be like, trying our best to talk about ourselves and our daily life with however much grammar/vocabulary we have, only switching to English if we’re not sure how something is said and want to check with the other.

Me: I’m 27, an illustrator and I enjoy reading manga and playing some video games. If you have other hobbies that’s okay, it could be fun trying to explain stuff in Japanese

Also, I would prefer to talk to a fellow adult (over 20).

Thank you for reading and please reach out if interested :)
