@ワアイすさぬ, I'll see your Laugenbrötchen and raise you a Brez'n from southeastern Germany! Almost the same, but not quite. Fluffy, sweet, but sprinkled with coarse salt, crustier and, well, プレッツェル-shaped. Then there are the Laugenstangen, which are like the lovechild of a Laugenbrötchen and a Brez'n.

There is a brand called Better Butter that makes the most delicious and herby whipped asiago butter you've ever had in your life I highly recommend slathering a piece of sourdough in it if you get the chance they also make garlic butter
