I have done it! I have collected all of the kao coins! I think my next goal will be more along the lines of increasing the number of words studied on here.
Congratulations! That is so cool! I have only managed to get about 5000 kao coins at a time as of right now.
I'm saving up for the land expansion so I've got around 68,000 Kao-Dollars/Yen .
I have been inspired by shirokitsune-sempai's quest!
I want to collect all of the kao coins within the first year of being on renshuu!
I already have all of the commons. I'm missing 70 rare coins, for which I'll need 3,500 points. I also need 63 ultra rare coins, which is 6,300 points. That makes a grand total of 9,800 points needed for a complete collection. I joined less than two months ago, so I have ten months to work with. So I need 980 points per month, or 33 points per day. The minimum quiz size is five questions, so I'll have to answer at least 165 questions every day. So far I'm averaging 600 questions per day, so I might finish ahead of schedule. 
I'll post again in a few months to share my progress.

Quest update!! It has been twenty eight days since I started the quest of getting a complete collection, and I've made a lot of progress. I've collected all of the rares!
At this point I only have to get 26 ultra rares, and I'll be finished.
That's only 2,600 points. It's thanks to Shirokitsune_sempai that I've made progress so quickly. In addition to being very driven of course. 
I think I'll be finished by the end of May, 8 months ahead of schedule.

I've done it! I have a complete collection of Kao coins! It's only been 39 days since I commited to this quest, and I'm already finished. What a wonderful world. Thanks again shirokitsune-sempai for the advice and support!
Now I'm going to go eat an entire package of Oreos.
