I reached level 75 and evolved my Kao-chan, but I didn't get a new manga page. I think if we get a new page every three levels, at level 75 I should have 25 manga pages, but I'm currently at level 77 with only 24 pages. Not a big deal to me but wanted to report it in case it's a sign of a larger issue. Thanks!
When you are getting level ups, it typically says (I believe) in the box "xx level(s) until your next manga page" - are those appearing? If so, do they appear to be accurate (or rather, as expected), and does anything appear when you should be getting that new page?
Hi, sorry for the slow response! I only get messages saying "only xx more levels until the next evolution" but I don't think I've ever seen a message about the levels needed for the next manga page.
So, I still do not have a lock on this issue, so I've added a bit of code around the (most likely) problematic area, keyed to your account. I'd love to know the next time you level up (regardless of whether or not it was a level that should have included a new mange page)
Hi, I just got to level 87 and got a new manga page. So that is two times in a row when I did successfully get a new manga page (level 84 and 87). It is about 9:28am in Japan on Thursday July 23rd in case you need that info. Thanks!
Hey, I'm so embarrassed by this but it seems that I got confused -- I said that I didn't get a new manga page at level 81, but I don't think that was true. So it was just an issue at level 75 and has not been an issue since.
I wonder if the fact that level 75 was an Kao-chan evolution level where I could choose a path (vs a regular level up or a non-path-forking evolution level) may have caused the manga page to get skipped? It could be worth checking how many manga pages users at level 74 have vs users at level 75. Or you can just ignore this issue and me! Sorry for giving you bad info that exaggerated the issue and accidentally conning you into spending time on this 😭
