So, I was looking for a books forum page, I couldn't find one, so if there isn't one, let's do it here!(tho if there is one please direct me there I want to go there)

I bought a whole Holly Jackson army
OMGGGGG I LOVE HOLLY JACKSON
Which books did you buy?
Yes
At long last there is a book forum.
My absolute favourites is the most studied book in schools. (I think) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and translated Japanese literature (especially those with Japanese sayings and cats
) with one of them being The Cat who saved books by Sosuke Natsukawa. It is a book talking about mistreated books and a boy and a talking cat that can only be seen under special conditions saving books from being mistreated and neglected while also being a coming of age story (And still trying to buy the physical copy of the sequal The cat who saved libraries and yet to read it)
What are you faveroite books out there and any in particular that you would absolutly want to recommend for everyone. (No judgement on anyone's crazy faveroites. Even I find my faveroites to be somewhat crazy)
I'm a huge fan of epic tales of redemption.
When I was a teen I loved Airman by Eoin Colfer. Now that I'm an adult my two all time favorites are Ben Hur by Lew Wallace and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
Edit: Just wanted to note that I've recently been reading the Lawrence Ellsworth translation of The Three Musketeers by Dumas as well and have been loving it. For anyone not familiar, he recently translated (2017) Dumas' most popular works and they are widely regarded as truest to the original French.
@マットlearns , in that case you would probably enjoy Victor Hugo's Les Misérables and The Man Who Laughs (if you haven't already). And/or, to continue with the classics, Henryk Sienkiewicz' Quo Vadis. (I wasn't a huge fan, but it might be right up your alley based on what you said. It may also have more success among Christians, though you don't have to be one to enjoy it.)
I'm sorry, the above may be obvious suggestions, depending on your background and country – but I find they're very little known in places.
