Hi, this is mostly a silly fun request. I had a dream I was looking for cotton balls in Japan but because I didn't know exactly how to pronounce the katakana word for cotton the clerk looked confused. I pulled out Renshuu and pulled up the Kao coin for cotton. Its cute little cotton face delighted the clerk and I got my point across. I also think they are a useful nemonic for visual thinkers and being able to search them would be helpful for quick access. Another option would be to attach them to the dictionary.
