Well when I started the app (not that long ago) I was very motivated and practiced for an hour or maybe even more!, but I definitely went down in practice time to about 30 minutes
I’ve been doing Duolingo for a while and the Japanese wasn’t the best (for me anyway) and renshuu is definitely helping
Yeah, in my personal opinion Duolingo is better at forming the habit rather than forming Japanese. Definitely happy i stumbled across renshuu too, if you havent tried it marugoto do free online lessons too, their one of the textbook providers along minna no nihongo and genki.
I do 50 minutes of Japanese and watch two Detective Conan videos in Japanese each day and each Conan video is about 20 minutes long (not counting the intro and end) so 110 minutes or about two hours
I try to complete my daily tasks but not always in one sitting so probably 30 minutes minimum but longer If I’m trying to complete a task to upgrade my garden or whatever.
