Hi all,
I'm trying to add my own sentences to a "sentences" mastery schedule but I'm having a hard time finding the option to do so. Does anyone know how?
Thanks!
Assuming you have a pro-account:
1. Add your custom sentence for a included/known word in the dictionary and link the words of the sentence to dictionary (as the 2nd step in the dialog box of parsing).
2. Now, click on the green + sign of the added sentence to add to your chosen sentence schedule.
Hope this helps.
There are a few ways to add your own sentences to a schedule, all of which work for non-pro as well.
If you find a sentence you like anywhere on Renshuu, hitting the green + symbol can add it straight to an existing schedule.
if your sentence isn't from Renshuu, you can add it as a sentence under one of the included words in the dictionary and then add it with the green + symbol.
You can also make a list for the sentence(s) you want to add (Resources > Community lists > Me > Make List (Sentences)), then start adding your sentences. If the sentence is not from Renshuu, you'll have to manually enter the translation and make bindings for the words. Once you've saved up, click on the calender symbol to add your list to an existing schedule!
The list may be slightly roundabout way, but it's perfect for if you want to add multiple sentences, because once they're in your list, they'll get automatically added to that schedule afterwards, and it may keep things organized. For smaller amounts, the first two options would be better.
When I go to "My Writing" → "Grammar" (under sentences) there isn't a plus symbol. I have linked all of the sentences that I wrote as example sentences for specific grammar points but I still can't find them or add them from the "My Writing" page.
Ah, I see! The only solution I can think of at this moment is copying your sentences either to "user sentences" for words in the dictionary, where there is a green + symbol for adding them, or to a list from where you will be able to add them as well.
If you have many sentences to add, my apologies that I can't offer you a better solution than copy-pasting. Hopefully you'll manage to make this work, or for someone else to possibly find an easier way.
