Hi! This is an extremely small issue - but I was wondering why きいろ didn’t show up as an option here?

My guess is that こうしょく / おうしょく are な-adjectives and the parser is combining them with the copula to make a predicate. You can work around the bug by inserting a space between 黄色 and です.

Thank you for the insight, that makes sense to work around it with the space! I can see now that it’s parsing 黄色です as one chunk. When I edited the writing back on the main word garden page, the other (more automatic?) version of the parser got it right. (The one that says “I’ve tried breaking up your sentence like this”)
The parser has a lot of little quirks in there, but splitting things up is often the easiest way to get it working.
The word garden one is a bit different - it uses the same system that the text analyzer does (and the dictionary as well). I have thought about running that through the manual parser as a first-round pass, but it has its restrictions as well, and blending them is not the easiest thing to do.
It's one of those "I'd love to do it" ideas that seem to keep getting pushed back as other, larger issues continually appear.

That’s totally understandable, and I now understand how to work with it better! Thank you so much for all your hard work!
