It helps me a lot to hear the word or term to remember it.
However, there is currently no sound for the kanji study section. It would be great to hear the most common reading (kun and on) when answering a question.
Thanks for the request. However, this will not be added. A couple of key reasons why:
1. Readings do not exist in a vacuum - they are parts of words, and in Japanese speaking, pitch is an important part of pronunciation. The pronunciation for any given reading could *change* depending on the word it is in, and so (just to give a random example) to say that しょく as a reading for 食 is spoken "this way" (insert audio file) would unfortunately be misleading.
2. As a two-person company, our time is extremely limited, and so we'd prefer to spend time adding audio where we feel it will help the most (words and sentences).
That aside, you can have words appear under the kanji (after the question) in the quizzes! Pop open the menu > settings, then jump to the Kanji category. Check out the options for Related vocab at the bottom :)
