Hi everyone,
I've already done a giveaway in the Discord and thought I would do one for the users here as well (since not everyone uses Discord). It will be a gift code to redeem a 1-year Renshuu Pro membership, so you can enjoy all the Pro features and continue your learning journey energized into the new year
Rules to enter are as follows:
1. Be a user for more 2+ months (to rule out new accounts, sorry!)
2. Be active for more than a third of days (I will check your profile heatmap for that, make sure it's visible!). I will only count the last 2 months.
3. Don't be a Pro member already (will ask マイコー for verification with that)
How to enter:
Simply comment below and answer the following two questions:
1. What's your favorite Renshuu feature?
2. What are your study goals for 2026?
The deadline is 31st December @CET 23:59h. I will randomly select a winner from the eligible entries. Thanks for reading and good luck to everyone!
My favourite feature is definitely the grammar library. It's a thing normal dictionaries don't have and is really useful for learning how ro express oneself. It shows how to use words, not just what the words mean, and learning wouldn't be the same without it.
My goal for 2026 is to get better at speaking. I've become decent at reading and writing through texting and reading, but I'm lacking in the audio department. I have some japanese friends to practice with, so hopefully I can achieve my goals with them. Maybe I'll even dare to take the JLTP next year
My favorite Renshuu feature has to be reading buddy, it's so helpful and easy to enter every words I don't know while reading novels or playing games. My study goals for 2026 is to hopefully visit Japan (maybe even study there!?) and to get better at speaking. I also want to take the JLPT N2 sometime late next year. Thanks so much for this giveaway!!
Hi there! It's so sweet of you to offer this
I'd say my favorite feature is the sentence dictionary. I do a lot of back in forth in Japanese with my study buddy, and seeing how to use certain expressions and sentence structures naturally is really helpful for me.
My study goals for 2026? Hmm, that's a hard one. I would really like to increase my reading comprehension so I can better understand the Japanese manga I'm working on, and I'd also like to improve my kanji-writing ability. Alongside all that, I hope to hit a general N3 level in all learning categories. Well see where things go from there!
I'd say my favorite feature is just the way Renshuu handles Kanji, because Kanji intimidated me the first time I tried to learn Japanese (way back when I was in high school) but I'm having a much better time with it here. It really helps being able to start with Furigana on anything I don't know but gradually phase it out as my Kanji study schedule advances. Then when I introduce a new Kanji and take the Furigana off, I'm able to associate it with the words in my vocab schedules.
My main goal for 2026 is to pass N3 next December. I also need to make more progress on my manga collection, because I've honestly been kinda slacking on going through it all. For a stretch goal, I'd like to try and finish a full JRPG, but I don't know if I'll actually be ready for that in 2026 just yet.
my favorite feature is the text analyzer! i can just dump any text in there and it i can tap on the words too see them like on everywhere in renshuu. i would usually put the lyrics in there when im listening to songs. since ive already finished the renshuu recommended jlpt schedules, i will likely extend my scope to other schedules like the common 10k words. but other than srs, i want to immerse more by reading and listening more! ive been mainly doing srs and rarely immersed.
My favorite feature is probably everything the question corner and other stuff you can write in even though I have neglected to use those things lately
My goal is to start practicing grammar much more seriously, my grandma bought a lifelong subscription of Rosetta Stone so hopefully that's helpful (at least for speaking skills of which I currently have none)
Hello! Thank you for the opportunity.
My favorite feature is probably everything about the SRS system: the way you can easily customize the pace, having to look at the terms first before going into questions, seeing example usages of a word, being able to comment extra info about a term, the way schedules are organized by JLPT levels, gradually having Kanji in words when you know them and also having Kao-coin in the end!
My goal for Japanese learning in 2026 is to pass JLPT N2
Hi!! Thank you for your kindness!!
My favorite Renshuu feature would definitely be the very customizable learning schedule. Unlike other apps, Renshuu allows their users to have control over how the learn and when they learn. Take Duolingo for example, Duolingo has only one way of learning, simple repetition. But with Renshuu you can add or remove materials which allows you to control what you learn which I find very useful since it allows me to to learn things before the schedule adds it to materials which can definitely make the learning process a lot faster (or slower) depending on the user. Another contrast between Duolingo and Renshuu is that Renshuu doesn't pressure you to learn everyday in fact they even encourage you to take break when you need to unlike Duolingo with they're annoying notifications. I also like the additional bonus of there being absolutely no ads! Thank you マイコー and さき
My studying goal for 2026 is to understand Kanji and maybe even be able to write it, be able to form complete sentences as well as speak them, and lastly I would like to be able to know at least 1,000 terms!
Thank you for reading this
hello
my favorite renshuu feature is how there is no pressure to progress. if you want to just review without learning anything new for a bit that's totally fine. also the whole SRS system is really great. remembering 1000 words sounds crazy but it really is possible even with just a few minuts a day
in 2026 i would like to focus a litle more on kanji. i notice that in the weekly book club it is often kanji wich make me not understand certain things
happy holidays to all yall
My favorite feature is the text analyzer because it really helps me understand longer and more complex texts.
My study goals are to finish n3 grammar by the end of the year, and to be able to speak fairly comfortably to a native that I know.
My favourite feature is Reading Buddy.
My study goals for 2026 are probably to focus more on Kanji and Grammar
my favorite feature is the quick draw game
my goals are to finish Katakana and word basics
Good luck to anyone else who enters! 😊
My favourite feature is the cross-linking of everything to the dictionary, and within the dictionary.
My goal for 2026 is to improve my kanji understanding so I don’t keep getting them confused.
The customizable schedules. As an I&C engineer, I appreciate the logic and how much control I have over my study plan. The Kao Garden is also a nice way to relax after a long shift at the power plant.
I'm aiming for N3. I'm starting a Ph.D. soon and want to be able to read Japanese technical documents and standards related to industrial control systems.
Thanks everyone for your entries, hope you had great holidays and a good start into the new year! It's been lovely reading your comments, I will soon pick a name and let マイコー verify it. Not sure how I will send the code since we don't have private messages anymore, but most likely I will ask him to do that as well!

Congrats! I'll update this thread once I have the logistics sorted out!
Edit: Verified and code sent!
ありがとうございます!
I certainly didn’t expect to win, and I really appreciate your generosity.
マイコー sent me the code and I have successfully activated it. Thank-you!
