The number of terms to review for my N1 kanji is typically 30 to 50 per day. Today this number suddenly increased to about 270. Most of these questions were about onyomi. Why is there a sudden increase in the number of terms to review?
Changes to the: "Kanji readings to include in your quizzes", will also have a big impact like that. So it might be worth checking that it is set as you intend it to be.

It is quite possible that it is a natural occurrence. The info I would like to see is from your schedule summary page, showing the mastery level graphs. For example, are all the "ready to review" terms at a certain mastery level, or are they scattered out across multiple levels?
They are mainly onyomi. Most of the ready to review terms are of low mastery which is weird because I have been working on n1 kanji for a while and the mastery of the terms wasn’t this low. When this issue first started it was over 200 terms for level 1 and 2 combined. Here are the other graphs.
There was so many terms to review that I had to limit it to a maximum of 40 per day. I believe this contributed to the 122 ready to review terms at level 7.
