Hey y'all,

I've just started with renshuu and have added in the typed in answers for vocab and kanji. One thing I've noticed is that sometimes renshuu seems to detect "extra" characters after kanji are incorrect.

For example: For い I entered in my answer with い the first time but it came back as wrong because it contained the い in my typed answer. When I went to type in the answer as by deleting the い, the answer was correct.

The opposite was true for . Originally, I typed in る as my answer and it accepted the answer as correct. I did not remove the る part of the answer like I did for い.

I'm not sure if I'm just doing something wrong, so if anyone can shed some light on what's going on here that would be super appreciated!

Thanks! :^)

It usually does not (at least, not intentionally) remove extra stuff, so if it is asking for a single kanji (character), clear out anything after it.

Ah okay, so for example best practice is to type in い to get the kanji character and delete い?
