This is going to sound very funny, but I lost dirt. Two of my items disappeared in the garden when I tried to place them. I was wondering how I can get them back. I don’t think they’re hidden behind any other items (like behind a tree), because I cleared that section of the board where the items disappeared, but they weren’t behind them. Since they’re very tiny, I could be missing them on the screen, but I can’t find them. In the item count it says I have 18, but they’re only 16 in the garden, and I actually watched them disappear when I tried to place them. Please excuse the very chaotic garden with all the Halloween decorations 😆
Oh wow, that’s so cool that you could find them like that. Thank you for taking the time to look for me. Things jump around when you try to place them. Usually it doesn’t let you overlap items, so I’m not sure how they even get behind other items. It’s finicky. Like it won’t allow you to move small items if they’re next to a large item like a tree. You have to remove the tree from the page in order to move the little item. I only mean to say that things move where you don’t intend them to move. Thank you for finding the hidden ones.
Yeah, it's quite finicky. The hitboxes for selecting items are all large rectangles, so you often select the wrong thing. Sometimes you just can't select an item that looks selectable (items also have z-indices). The "collision" hitboxes are also rectangular, so they feel very restrictive. A lot of the more vertical items only have those near the base, so you can place things behind them.
I didn’t understand most of that, but I got the general idea. And I guess if anything goes missing in the future, I’ll look behind tall vertical stuff. Thank you for finding my dirt 😂❤️
