Consider the following sentence:

からりました。”

“She (came back/returned) from the shoe store.”

Is my use of から correct in this case or would you use something slightly different like “からに” with the particle instead?

I think your usage is correct. Shoe store should be 靴屋さん though.

The translation would be correct the way I read it. Looking up what you're asking about seems to be からには, which would need a bit more info than just saying someone came from somewhere since it's saying something different to your translation.
