I really like renshuu, but the colours confuse me. There’s no overarching colour scheme, and it honestly hurts my eyes a bit as a design lover. Is it possible to implement themes, like pink, blue, and/or monochrome? I don’t code so i don’t know how much time it would take, but i would be really grateful!!
Yup, and in the future we might get official themes. On PC you easily try any of the ones we've made. I've made two for the contest. Currently using the second one.
I was going to make at least one more, but ran out of steam.
Edit: The colourblindness setting actually makes it harder for me to see. Quizzing area one is good though.
The colorblind thing really only helps if you are not using dark mode. For me at least, blue-gray on white is much easier to read than green on white. Since I’m trying the new experimental setting that turns dark mode on and off automatically, I’ve turned it back on.
For me, it really doesn't make much (if any) difference on PC. A setting that lets you pick your own custom colour(s) could be nice. Not for everything, just a few of hard to see elements. I guess Michael did say "If we get enough entries, I plan on making a "style" selector section in renshuu's settings", not sure how many "enough" is though. We have six, and all of them are for Dark mode :D
PS: I don't think OP was asking about readability.
