I resent the new one. The new one is Kao the Hunter. Please remove Kaolo-Chan not Kao the hunter. Thx!
So, I don't have an easy way for you to remove older entries. This is a weird workaround, but tap the flag icon on your old post, and say "hey, it's me, please remove this", and I'll be able to match up the names and remove it.
This will cause, once I process it, a "content warning" to get sent to your inbox, but you can ignore it.
I didn't realize until recently the prize for winning is renshuu pro, which I already bought a lifetime subscription to. I just wanted to contribute a coin because I love drawing. If I place, is it possible you could gift the reward to someone else here?
Since the contest is almost over, I just wanted to say that I have enjoyed seeing everyone else's entries in the dedicated thread! So many creative and talented people on Renshuu! I hope to win Kao coins of your creations in the future!
Hi, just a short question: How long is the event still going? My wife and I are working on our coin but just realized that we might not have the entire day if you go by the Japanese time zone
In the past, as long as it was October somewhere in the world, entries were still being accepted.
I usually try and wait for Oct 31st to end everywhere, as I never remember to note that it's set to a specific time zone.
I just submitted an entry around the Honlulu time zone 9.55pm still on Oct 31. (don't know exactly what the official timezone name is the internet said UTC−10:00.) Will my entry still be considered despite being November 1 in most other places? (I'm in UTC +10:30 accoriding to the internet)
The contest has ended, and all submissions past this point will not be allowed.
We got a HUGE number of entries (double last year's!), so it's going to take me some time to get through all of them. Still processing some content reports of AI content, which is never 100% (in either way), so it's tricky to do those.
I expect to finish mid/late November!
Will results be presented in the same forum or a separate announcement?
We had DOUBLE the number of entries compared to last year, and perhaps due to the renshuu community's strong feelings against AI, there was a huge number of images drawn by hand and then photographed.
Like always, I found myself unable to limit the winners to just 10, so the Bronze category has a few extra entries! All winners and participants will receive an in-app message later on regarding the results.
Now, there were a small number of content reports regarding suspicion of AI work in some of the entries, and all of these were looked into. It is my hope that we can continue to run this contest in good faith in the future as well.
Lastly: these entries as well as other Kao-coin entries will be added into the system near the end of the month. Not all entries will be added, nor will I be able to discuss the reasons for the inclusion (or not) for any given entry.

By the way, how many coins were added aside from the winning ones
As noted in the post, no coins have been added - it will be done near the end of the month.
Congrats to all winners!! Thank you Michael for your efforts judging, it must've been insanely difficult.
I'm looking forward to the end of the month, when the new coins get added. Will we be notified if one of our coins gets added to the pool, or do we need to discover for ourselves?
Also, out of curiosity, how do you handle reports of AI suspicion for the contest? What do you use to judge whether an entry uses AI? Does the participant get notified at all, in case they want to dispute claims?
Congrats to the winners! Next time, I will try more harder!

がんばれ myself and がんばれ others too!
There's no "official" process, but it usually involves asking the user for additional proof of work (which has always been provided). However, even with that, I am being told that some AI setups can show stages of a drawing, even a video timelapse, so it's only going to get harder.
There are no notifications of which coins make it into the system!
Congrats to the winners! No, I'm not salty my SUUUUPER coin didn't make it, why do you ask?
Congrats to everyone who won, very talented artists here on renshuu!
This was a lot of fun to do and it got me interested in drawing again! Next year I'll do an original one
