掲示板 Forums - Handwriting input box auto appeared for multiple choice question

I've submitted an in quiz bug report for this. This post is to add a picture and some additional details.

Handwriting input box automatically appeared in top left corner for question. But this question is multiple choice and isn't a fill in the blank question.

I have the "Display writing pad for all typing questions" switched to on, and "Only for kanji answers" checked

This seems to be happening for all multiple choice definition questions.

Made a list and schedule to replicate it and couldn't reproduce it. I haven't seen it pop up anywhere else today either, so it looks like this gremlin must have gone into hiding.

So it just happened again:

Started the first quiz of the day: Kanji with several quizzing types activated. Yet, I don‘t have any writing vectors activated in that schedule. So it shouldn‘t show up at all. But I have the option checked, that asks me to write the Kanji I answered wrong.

I also have the account settings option checked, that says: Use pad for all writing questions. But not the additional option „only for kanji answers“.

This was not the first question in that quiz (as you can see in the screenshot, it‘s kanji 5-8), but it is the first question of that type (making words with the given kanji). The input box does not appear again on any further questions in the same quiz. It did appear again on the first occasion of the same question type when I did a second quiz on the same schedule.

Still there. Exact same situation as described above.

The questions before were always multiple choice.

I do not have any „Fill in“ questions activated in that schedule.

The error appears only on the screeshot type of question posted earlier.

I do have „reinforce“ activated. Yet, by the time the error occurs, that hasn‘t (or rather shouldn’t have) been triggered by mistakes.

Oh, and if you/anyone can replicate it on desktop (with the web inspector), I would love to see if there is any text in the console, specifically lines starting with "[debug] blankFocus".

I turned off „reinforce“ which seems to help. I got the same quizzing type as above after a couple of multiple choice questions in a (different) kanji schedule and the handwriting box did not show up.

Will try again tomorrow with „reinforce“ back to activated. So maybe it wasn‘t the option but the change you made…?
