I check every day the Sentences are Done, and yet my counter has been reset multiple times.
Finally confirmed thanks to the daily goal. Permanent shows it is Done for today, but I've only gotten 4 correct. One I missed but marked as correct.
If I don't answer another sentence question correctly the streak will be lost, even though it says it is Done.

This is probably why the mission didn't count it. Many missions require you to do perfect reviews, and that includes never using the "redo" or "mark as correct" buttons. Which would mean this is intended behavior, not a bug.
Well, in this case, it's not whether or not the quiz is perfect, as the correct questions are counted on a term-by-term basis. However, it is possible that the mark as correct is not getting counted as "correct" (to prevent abuse). I do not quite recall what the code shows for that case.

That is the issue. It shouldn't show "Done for today" if it isn't actually going to count
I can confirm "Days in a row with X studied..." quests count answers where you've used "mark as correct". I did a quiz where I marked 3/5 kanji as correct after getting them wrong and the quest says "Done for today!"
No idea if this matters, but the wording is slightly different: "with X questions studied (n+ correct answers)" VS "Answer X questions correctly". I guess you could interpret "answer correctly" as the exact moment you give your answer, while "correct answers" might include using "mark as correct".
If it really breaks your streak, it should get fixed. It should either stay the way it is, but keep your streak, or count "correct answers" the same way as the other quests.
I don't feel like testing this since I'd need to deliberately skip a day. Actually, I guess I can test it with grammar.
