At least twice a week, Renshuu randomly logs me out of the app, usually in the middle of a lesson. It makes me login again, at which time all lesson progress is lost and all streak progress is reset. I verify that I am logged in every time I open the app. This is extremely frustrating. Is there any fix?
I always study in the exact same place every day, resting in my bed with my bunny snuggled up beside me. No Internet issues here at all. No other devices or apps have this problem. I am logged in via my Apple account and use my iPad for Renshuu. When the app logs me out, it always returns me to the “sign in with Apple” page. It typically happens 3-4 times per week, and only once per study session. As for streaks, let’s say I study ten kanji and then get logged out. My “days in a row with kanji studied” will say “done for today,” but when I log in the next day, my streak will be reset to zero if I don’t redo at least 5 more kanji.

The streak problem is most unlikely unrelated (but just a coincidence), as it is not tied into the logged in session, if that makes sense. Each time you study a term in a quiz, the result is saved immediately to the server database, and only that is checked when looking for streak progress, not anything "inside" of the the client/app.
If you can give me some more info on the streak issue, I can look into it more. Specifically: is it only happening with kanji, or is it with the other quiz types (words, grammar, etc.) as well? Do you typically study close to the reset time for your account, when the schedules roll over to the next day? (this would be on the first page of your general settings for the app).
If you can keep an eye on it and let me know which days appear to have had the streak reset, that will also help (but is not required.)
I just want to mention that I’ve also been logged out mid-session recently. It’s possible that there were connectivity issues, but that shouldn’t kill the session.
I was just using the kanji as an example. Truth is that it appears to be completely random. I will pay closer attention to see if there is a specific lesson type or types that are more likely to glitch. I’ll check reset time when I have a chance. I always study just after midnight, and I’ve never messed with reset time, so I assume it’s default.
It just happened again, at 12:40 a.m. while studying in the “sentences” section of the community lists. At that time, I had already been studying for 30 minutes from lessons on my homepage.
