Forums - Meaning of む(ゆめ.む) in a poem?

Heya, I've encountered this word in a poem I've been studying (「れっちまったしみに」、) in the following stanza:

れつちまつたしみは
なにのぞむなくねがふなく
れつちまつたしみは
のうちに

From my limited understanding there are "oddities" or archaisms in the poem ( read けだい, ...) so I'm wondering if this is similar - is it something currently in use, is it a poetic licence, does it hold a different meaning that る?

Please note that I'm a beginner-ish just translating things way above my skills for my own fun.

Thanks a lot,

Mel :)

む (ゆめむ), just an old/poetic way to say 夢見る

100% not used in modern Japanese.

Edit: Here's two sources where you can listen to it, for anyone interested. One with the text, so you can follow along.

You're welcome! I hadn't read any of 's works before, I might check out more of his poems. This one was very fun to read and not too difficult for me :)

Edit: I also found this video aimed at Japanese students (middle/high) analysing it. I'll share it here, in case anyone is interested. It's fully in Japanese of course. Make sure to switch the audio track to JP if defaults to the awful AI dub...
