I've been building up a playlist called "Anime Music" for a couple of years at this point, it has like 600+ songs right now from a variety of different anime (mostly anime I watch, but some are from ones I haven't watched). It also has J-pop and Anison stuff from games as well, and a handful of tokusatsu songs.

The benefit of listening to music in Japanese while learning Japanese is I feel it gives the immersion of being in a place like a restaurant, you're talking to people while there's pop music playing. And then also if there's a word I'm unfamiliar with I can look it up.

You can sing anime theme songs in karaoke, right? Because I know one that's actually from an anime... someone help me out!

Thanks to anyone who answers (if possible) 😘😘

Of course definitely, that is why there is karaoke. Japanese People spend so many hours in it because they love it.

I don't put on any music. At work, this is basically my soundtrack:

Sorry, it's me again (I know I'm really annoying, forgive me 🙇) It's a stupid question, but it's always better to ask. At karaoke, you can sing Japanese songs, but translated, right? I'm not very good at pronunciation... 😅

Thanks to anyone who answers and puts up with my annoying personality ❤️

Yes! You can sing Japanese songs in translation, but most karaoke machines will only have the original lyrics, meaning they'll show the Japanese words . They usually dont come with official English translations you can sing along to. kao_punch.png
