You can add a quick shiritori panel to your community tab if that helps you remember.
i actually joined to play shiritori on my down time... and now i'm getting back to actually learning japanese
whenever im done w/ my schedules, i usually just play shiritori. it's pretty fun, even though sometimes i might take a peek at the dictionary hehehehehehhehehe
Personally I think using a dictionary is the correct way to play shiritori, you learn way more that way (although for some reason many people disagree with me)
We have about 8000 words played a day in all shiritori games, and another 8-11 thousand played with shiritori cat.
Shiritori is very fun and unexpectedly useful to review vocab, either from your words or from looking at what has been submitted already.
The only downside is the casual existential crisis when a word you are pretty sure you have seen used before is rejected for not being in the dictionary, haha. I always start wondering if i made it up completely, if it was actually some sort of slang and i wasn't aware of it, or if it simply happened to not have been added to the dictionary for whatever reason. But hey, really cool to become aware of that!
