Go, go, go, have a quick and easy recovery and enjoy your health! Saying this as someone who struggles with the whole work-life balance thing: again, Renshuu will be fine. As long as you are.
An update to the last message posted here. My hospitalization and surgery have finished, and for the moment, treatment is over. However, due to the nature of my illness, it is something that could reappear at any point in my life, so my family and I will be diligent in looking out for it and keeping me as healthy as can be!
As overworking was one of the main causes to this illness flying under the radar for so long, I am continuing a slow return to renshuu so that I can keep everything in balanced. I expect to continue to work on new features and larger improvements in September, and hopefully, the VC events (in Discord) at that point as well. I will be out of the country for some of July and most of August, so the amount of work on renshuu will continue like it has this month for just a bit longer.
There is one thing I'd like to ask Android users: please join the beta/testing track on this page: https://play.google.com/store/... and download the new version of renshuu. It is a collection of internal changes required by Google, but I'd prefer to get it tested by a lot of users before pushing it out to everyone.
Michael, I hope you are doing better! I know this post was made 8 months ago, before I even started my renshuu account, but whatever goes through your life, we will never leave by your side and we wish you the best stay strong
Just saw the most recent announcement--I'm so sorry you couldn't kick this disease the first time around, but I hope with all my heart that this time you'll be able to reach a complete recovery. I'm praying for you マイコーさん
Same here. Many of us have probably had family or other dear ones dealing with serious conditions, so we really empathise. You can do this, I'm sure. You can pummel this thing into the ropes and out of the ring. Renshuu is [more than] fine the way it is. Be well, 皆が応援しています。
