Listening and repeating back words and even entire sentences will help you a lot. If you like anime, watch in Japanese audio (with English subtitles if you prefer) and just try to listen for familiar words and think about the pronounciation, carefully and intentionally practice the pronounciation. As you say a word a certain way enough times it'll become more natural - on Renshuu click the speaker icon whenever you hear it (like literally every chance you get) and just listen to yourself saying it and the recording and keep trying to say it exactly how you hear it until it feels close. Your brain should naturally start to pick up patterns eventually just like you learned English :)hope this helps and if you have any more questions let me know

I completely agree with アっくん kao_guts.png I thought I was doing pretty well with pronunciation until I realized that there were a lot more nuances to pitch than I was aware of, so I started listening to words as often as possible. The more you hear it, play it back in your head, or repeat it yourself, the better; eventually the sound will be etched in your memory!

The thing that I'm doing currently to help me with my pronunciation is playing a word's audio each time it comes up in a quiz and then repeating the word out loud. It makes my quizzes take longer than usual (so sometimes I don't do it because I'm lazy kao_lazy.png), but it's worth it to help you nail down those pronunciations (`・∀・)b

@アっくん kao_horror.png Whoa!
Never thought of it!! Using the speaker..kao_shiawase.png Feels so awkward to me to talk to a phone! That's definitely a good tactic if you're skipping Discord.
ありがとう♡

But you know..there's lots of teachers on Discord, even Japanese~ I'm pretty sure finding an online buddy to talk to can be really productive! kao_heart.png
I admit, I personally haven't tried Discord. But I have watched Youtube videos of people doing that.

Maybe try tongue twisters! LMAO.

Overall, the more you understand the easier it gets! Keep using Japanese, even if it's not perfect and you will get better with time!
Goodluck! kao_yeah.png
