How can I contribute to the community lists so that it can be visible on the community lists?
When you go in My lists, click the pencil on a list and uncheck Make my list private. Then it will show up in Community Lists
Do note that the search engine does not update immediately, so it may not be available for search right after you make it.
I made one and saved it, but on saving it, it says " it is saved under 'Me'. "
Even though I made checked that is not private
Do note that the search engine does not update immediately, so it may not be available for search right after you make it.
All right, thank you !
And also, how to rename the assorted lists once..
I just want to make one category like "my lists( in words)" and put all lists of words under that category..is there a option?
(Assorted Lists) contains the lists not in a set so you can't rename it.
But, it sounds like you want to make a set of lists.
To do that, go into each individual list -> edit list -> this list is part of a set -> select the set it is part of (or make a new set for the first one) -> save
To rename a set use Resources -> Reading Buddy -> click on gear beside set -> change the name
THXXX its so easier now!
What if I want to remove all this list and make it under the only one list I have created ? so that I could put "My words" under the list I created...
And How to delete study pad?
The Reading buddy you said is for renaming the lists in bulk ( aside from its main user )Ig right?
(Assorted Lists) is a special set
"My words" is a special list
"Studypad" is a special list
None of the special sets or lists can be deleted or renamed
If you want to move the contents of My words to a list, you can use the Advanced search tool. (Add Words -> My Words, Actions -> List)
The Reading buddy is not for renaming lists in bulk. However, you can rename lists one by one using it, and it is the only way to rename a set (at least as far as I know).
Thx again...From advanced search I could move "My words" under "my list" and I can do it with study pad too..
And this bothers me...is this normal or not? it kinda looks moved
Yes I think reading buddy is the only way the rename a list, unless created one
If you have a new list with those words, then you've copied them. If you don't, then you haven't.
Hm.. ok yes those my words still remain..I just created a cpy and then pasted it under my list
Wait..like you said that studypad can't be deleted... I deleted all the terms from studypad..and the studypad got deleted
