What about just 夜 (for simply night)

Kirb, I know this one is probably spelled differently, but what about 夜 の光 for Night-Light ? ( This could work too and it is shortened)

It's phonetically impossible, because having a small kana after another small kana would have no purpose since small kana (except ッ) always change the sound of the full size kana that comes before, so writing チェ makes it che instead of chi, but チェィ wouldn't say anything because the ィ isn't changing any kana's sound
