What I’m trying to do: find my kanji list containing 麳 so I can customize the meaning.
What I did: Search community lists for “麳”
What I expected to happen: Search results contain only lists with 麳 in the name or description.
What actually happens: Search results contain every list in the same set as the desired list. Since the set has over one hundred lists, this isn’t helpful.
If I’m not mistaken, this is a regression. It was working for a while, but now it’s back to the old behavior.
Can you try now, and let me know if it works for you?
I'm actually not quite sure it is a regression, but rather a hidden bug. It was doing the filtering if it was in the Assorted Lists section, but *not* in any other category.
Something broke overnight.
The character 坥 is not found in that list, its title, or its description. It is in the previous list.
EDIT: seems to have been a temporary glitch. Maybe the database was in the middle of a rebuild or something.
It’s not working again. Hope it’s another temporary glitch.
I won’t bother with another screenshot, since it looks the same. My search term was 殸.
I've reverted the previous change to restrict it down to the specific lists in a group, *unless* it's assorted lists. It was (is) causing much larger issues than this one :(
Out the original fix in for your issue, but it (belatedly) caused a much larger issue. It's unfortunate, but I'd rather have the larger issue fixed for now until I have time to look at both issues and figure out how to resolve both of them.
Unfortunately, this means I’ll have to give up on grouping my lists into sets and move everything back into assorted lists. Is there a way to do that in bulk? I don’t want to have to edit each list one by one.
There is not, at least not on your end. I'm doing the best I can to handle all of these bugs, so I would personally (a bit hopefully) suggest that you wait, but there is no reliable time-frame that I can promise to you.
