I just noticed the new pets, and ofcc I got them!! I was really wondering if the sparrows could be in the bird bath?
That's not currently a feature. If you want it to be one, the place to request a "bird bath that pet birds go in" would be in the pinned thread for Kao Garden Item requests here:

It's probably not going to happen - sorry! Simply not planning on adding that level of interaction between objects in the garden.
