N3くらいです。おめなサイトやれば、えてください。

How do you go about reading books in Japanese?

I think that when I learned English, reading (especially novels) was the number one contributor to my improvement, so I wanted to try the same for Japanese. However, Aozora Bunko (basically Japanese Project Gutenberg) tends to have works that are too difficult for me.

My level is probably around N3. If you have recommendations for sites to read with, or books, I would appreciate it!

You're essentially referring to the Tadoku method (literally 'reading a lot').

A popular site for this would be Tadoku obviously, which offers many free graded books, so you can give it a try. Another frequently recommended option is Satori Reader.

Maybe you can try find something on the Soseki project, it has audio and you can also click on words to see the meaning, so it'll probably help you.
