Would it be possible to add a section for short stories? This and answering in voice are only what I lack here in Renshuu. (I already got an answer regarding the latter).

If you're interested in short stories, do check out the weekly book club on Discord, where we have short stories divided by difficulty that you can read and discuss with others. Or if Discord is not your thing, the vocabulary lists and links to the stories are available on Renshuu if you search for bookclub in the Community Lists!

I've posted about these before, but I have no idea where I did, so let me summarize the responses:

1. Short stories would be *amazing*, but would take SO MUCH work to find (or make), integrate into renshuu's system with word/sentence lookup (like the rest of the sentences), validate Englsh/Japanese content, and then bring them into the quizzing system somehow. While you get so much out of them, readings have much less "replay" value, so it takes a lot of content that doesn't go as far before people will naturally want more.

I feel like leaving it up to other apps/resources (or discord) is ideal, but if it ever becomes a possibility in the future, I will definitely do it.

2. With speaking, I'd point towards discord: the app based speaking practice solutions are all either "speech-to-text" based checking (which isn't really ideal) or AI/LLM based - both things are being done by other apps, and I'd rather let them focus on it. If I add it in the future, it'll be if I can feel confident about the quality of the tool.
