I added kanji helper schedule to the N4 vocabulary schedule and it activated all the readings for all the kanji I've studied so far. Instead of making the vocabulary and kanji study more integrated, it got worse as my kanji schedules now only ask about readings I don't have words for.
I've no doubt this can be resolved, but if you can, you may want to hold off on studying the kanji helper for a day or two until we can get this resolved.
If you go to Menu > Settings, then search for "kanji reading", what setting do you have it set to?
Also, can you give some specific examples of kanji and readings that are now active, but you do not believe they should be?
The kanji reading setting was set to "Don't use new system". After I changed it to "No extra readings" it got better, although rare readings that I had already studied stayed.
Examples of rare readings that appeared are: 定 さだ。か、政 まつりごと、取 シュ、打 ダ。
Thank you for the response. As you noted, once studied, they are "in" your personal data unless you manually uncheck them.
Now, I believe I might have found the cause of the issue - it was not actually the schedule itself, but something else that you did (and the system incorrectly altered your preferences).
I believe it should be resolved - if you feel like switching it back and giving it a shot, I'd love to know if it works better for you.
However, if the newer setting is working better for you, I feel that's a better option for most users, so it might be better to just stick with that.
