Does this sentence have the correct structure?

I am new to learning Japanese language. Can anyone explain to me the uses of hiragana, katakana and kenji well?

Hello, I'm wanting to write up a question that is a bit harder than current questions to ask those of a higher level than me. I wanted it to make it a question that tests the readers comprehension a bit, and currently I have:

私は将来ブイ・アールが世界的なコミュニケーションを取るための大切な仕掛けになると思うけど、あなたが何と思いますか？

Does it make sence? Is it natural? I really relied on the dictionary for this.

It's VR, Virtual Reality, used the katakana reading purely for the challenge of the V transcription. If you can't tell it, you'd have to either use the dictionary or notice 仕掛け means a device of some sort, so a device called ブイ・アール... Ah, VR!

I feel like VR is a justified enough abbreviation that gives a good enough hint to what the writer wants you to think about, so I'll risk that. So, putting in your other advice, we have:

将来、VRが世界的なコミュニケーションの重要な技術になると思いますが、あなたはどう思いますか？

とても難しいだよね...

I checked the rules again, and based on "Only questions using correct, polite Japanese will be considered" your original probably wouldn't have been accepted.

In English your question would read something like "I think VR will become an important technology for global communication in the future. What do you think?" or "In the future, I think VR will become an important technology for global communication, but what do you think?" (a bit closer to the JP version)

Assuming that's what you wanted to say, you're all good :)

Personally, I'd love more questions like these, but they aren't very beginner friendly

"As you get older, what do you get better at?"

no idea how to do this, heh, so gonna make a guess and not try to post it in
