A recent question about the text analyzer inspired me to take another stab at the Red Frog and it’s still an incredibly painful experience. It would be a big help if there was a search and replace function that I could use to make simple repetitive edits like つた→った etc.
The ability to remove all spaces before reparsing in an automated fashion would also be a huge time saver.
No, after parsing. To repair it so that it can be re-parsed correctly.
I suppose there’s no reason this has to happen in the text analyzer itself. You could instead dump it into an external editor and upload after editing. But the external editor won’t have the benefit of the analyzed text to work with.
After parsing is going to be a nightmare for a relatively small gain (across all usage of the TA). I'm "done" as far as updates to TA go for the foreseeable future (bugfixes, aside, of course), but I'm sure I'll add more to it in the future.
