Kanji often acts as a wall to new learners and can be discouraging. So don't worry about kanji until you have at least 100 words learned in your vocabulary schedule. At this point, you can begin to learn through renshuu's kanji schedules.
The kanji schedules focus on individual kanji, but don't worry! As you study kanji on renshuu, they will automatically begin to appear in the vocabulary/sentences you see on renshuu, and you'll begin to get quizzed on these kanji in your vocabulary studies.
