I just wrote my first sentences in Japanese and I am very proud of myself! The first one I wrote in Google Translate to help me with getting the grammar right (was confused on the subject order) but the second one was written in a separate note pad all on my own.

をコーヒーはくでさい。(Please make my father a coffee.)

いだ。いだ。(My cat is black. My friend's dog is white.)

Congratulations!

You should be proud! The fact that you can say that you were able to write anything at all is better than what most people can say, and if you don’t give up, you’ll only progress.

So keep learning and you’ll be able to write more before you know it

ありがとうございます!

I'm really hoping to stick to it this time! I tried to learn for the first time a few months ago but gave up at the grammar and vocab. This app has helped a LOT with those aspects in particular though!
