When I attempt the clear the crossword on iPad, the confirm button doesn’t pop up like it does on a phone but instead the screen grays out and becomes unresponsive.
Thanks for the message - what version of iOS do you have, and is this a 100%, happens-every-time issue? Does it happen for both kanji and kana puzzles?

taking over an old thread to say that i am having the same issue. I cannot clear crosswords. It happens 100% of the time, for kanji and kana puzzles. I am on an android phone (14), using Chrome.
