For 3, I mean vertical centering. The little text bottom aligned to big text feels slightly off. Might be best to just make the count part of the title. "GroupName (6)" and "[Ungrouped] (33)"
I also noticed that the groups stay in open/collapsed state between refreshes. Not sure if intentional, but it is a nice touch.
The Analysis will soon have a preview of the terms in the list (along with filters, etc.), putting it closer to the Advanced Search.
However, I am feeling more and more like it's getting way too cluttered. From top to bottom, we have:
1. Vocab analysis
2. Kanji analysis
3. Grammar analysis
4. Selector for working with vocab/kanji/grammar sentences
5. Filters / Actions
6. Preview of terms
I've also gotten more requests for analysis against other frequency lists, most common words, etc, which would further expand the analysis.
Part of me feels like a clean solution would be to do the following;
1. Rewrite the tabs on top (Reader / Analysis) to be (Reader / Vocab / Kanji / Grammar). I think what goes under each would be fairly clear, make it easier to add term-type (kanji/vocab/grammar) specific extra info without making it harder to get to stuff.
An alternative to tabs, which renshuu already uses extensively, would be expandable sections. That way the user can expand or hide the sections they are interested in without losing the wider context.

What do you think?
Personally I don't mind if the Analysis and Work With parts are cluttered, because I see those as power-user features like Advanced Search. Anyone using those features of the Text Analyzer are probably looking to have as much information about and control over their materials as Renshuu will give them, which naturally is going to come at the expense of some visual breathing room. The reader and term lists are probably the parts that are more important to keep simple.
I do like the tabs idea as a way of breaking it up, but I think the Analysis tab should stay (as it provides a nice overview of difficulty and what's known across every area), and Work With should maybe be its own tab (being a Pro-only feature and having so many options attached to it, it feels like it should stay separate). Then the term previews could be moved to the individual Words/Kanji/Grammar tabs.
Though that would make a lot of tabs, so it's just trading one kind of clutter for another
2. A new checkbox on the top of the page for toggling on the new split-panel display for analysis.
With both of these, there was a LOT Of tying together various systems in renshuu, so while I did a good amount of checking, I've no doubt there's a few small things that may not be working - please report anything you find!

I'm seeing neither of these things added to the Text Analyzer...
Im not sure if someone mentioned this, but after the text analysis is over and you get the inbox message it has a link, but the link always doesn't work, and it returns " Sorry, the page that you were looking for could not be found. Please use the menu above to access the areas of the site.Page accessed: quiz/breakit&text_id=30076&ajax=true&removeQuiz=true&src_stamp=1726110438 " This isn't a big deal, but the link could probably just be removed. But other then that I think the text editor is great, and what the other people in the form said seem like great ideas
It would be nice to have an option for when a word isn’t in the dictionary or a conjugation is too complicated to be detected by the app to have an option like reparsing but where you can put ‘not recognized by app’ and manually enter a meaning & reading, so that the analyzer doesn’t keep changing it to something else. Not necessarily as like a report issue feature but just to show up for that one instance for personal ease of use.
As always I really appreciate the amount of care put into this app, thank you for creating and running it :)

I have noticed two small bugs with the old view of the text analyzer that popped up after the new split view was introduced.
When the old view is used, and you click in the analysis tab on either Kanji or Grammar, the second option of "What do you want to do?" is duplicated. (See first screenshot)
Furthermore when i try to export it to a list it gives an error message. However words can be exported just fine, and in the new view it works as well.

I believe this has been fixed. If it is still giving you issues, please let me know.
@Jysanna - the error should be fixed )I hope!), and I'll look into the duplication thing real soon.
Lastly, as to adding your own reading/def or whatever, that will not make it into this round of improvements, but I completely agree -it's a *must have* for later on.
I am facing an issue that none of the words are getting added into an existing schedule, when I use the split panels. However, it is working when I don't have that feature enabled. I get no notification when clicking Add terms on Desktop. I took a quick look, and seems like the new request is missing the text_id parameter.
**[Improvement]** Text Analyzer - you can now edit/delete groups
**[Improvement]** Text Analyzer texts can be selected for kanji and grammar in the Advanced Search (renshuu pro)
**[Improvement]** Text Analyzer - you can now add the terms to an existing list.
In particular, the last one is an extension of a new (hidden) feature in the Advanced Search. If I can get some more reports of success with this, I'll expose this option inside of Advanced Search as well!
