2. Must be 30 words or less, although around 20 words (or less) is probably the sweet spot.

Use the (?) button to report an issue with a quiz question.
You can limit the amount of terms shown daily in mastering schedules to keep your learning sustainable and enjoyable.
Use the "mark correct" button on quizzes if you miss-clicked on a question so you can still get the points for it.
Busy schedule? You can set study reminders in the settings page.
Want specific question types? Pressing settings next to a schedule will let you set how you want to study with that schedule!
Struggling with onyomi and kunyomi for kanji? You can switch them off in your schedule settings so that you’re only quizzed on definitions for now.
Try searching the Community Lists for your favourite Japanese games or TV shows!
#1 For those using a pc, you can configure keybinds in settings -> quizzing. That way, you won't be needing a mouse!
#2 Hiding answer choices in quizzes isn't enabled by default. If you'd like to think about the answer for a question first before answering, turn on "hide multiple-choice answers" in settings -> quizzing. With #1, you can add a keybind to toggle between show and hide answers!
If you're missing a Kao coin, you can purchase it under the coins pannel using ingame points!
In 'Stats', under the activity map, it shows how 'activity' is measured and how many correct answers you have left to be 'fully active'.
you can add you own definition /translation (for yourself or for everyone) during a quizz just by smashing the 3 dots [ ⋮ ]
You can filter the quests for your kao coins in the kao garden, so you get more quests for things you actually regularly do. For example you can say you only want learning quests and not ones for games.
If you struggle with kanji readings you can create joint mastery schedule for multiple kanji levels (N4-N3 for me) and uncheck "kanji's meaning" in study vectors (and cram it all in your head with focused reviews).
Want to study specific terms (e.g. kanji for a GCSE)? Go to Resources in the menu, then "Community Lists" and tap "make a new list".
Not up for every challenge yet? Filter the challenges you want to tackle under Kao-chan's settings!
Want to learn hiragana and katakana and keep that information? Try giving yourself a picture or word to help you remember it when you see it:)
