It was pretty cool driving through it usually people just drive around it bc driving in it is stressful but they did bc we hadn't seen it before and I'm glad bc I've never seen buildings like that before. Chicago isn't really a place you can just drive around in though you have to be going somewhere because if you get lost then you can accidentally drive into dangerous areas

Netflix's weird region locked policies bugged me, so I downloaded a VPN to change my digital location so I could watch Scott Pilgrim takes off.kao_fire.png I didn't get to finish it though, because my mother was mad at me and blocked pretty much all of the apps on my phone.kao_shocking.png That happened a pretty long time ago, and now I've mostly given up on ever getting those apps back. Most of them I don't need anyway, I don't want to waste my time playing mediocre mobile games.kao_yoroshiku.png Anyways, the point is if your streaming service has region locked content, a decent VPN can completely bypass those restrictions. The best VPNs cost money, but there are some functional ones that make money by preying on those with weak wills. Basically they have ads. As to whether it's legal, I have no idea.kao_think.png I'm pretty sure it's legal in America, but that might change with state legislation. Outside of America I don't know, but I think they should be legal in most of Europe.

Free VPNs make their money by selling user data. That might not matter to you right now, but it is something to keep in mind.

@パン I did check and (at least here in America) the shows you mentioned as the ones you want to watch are on Crunchyroll if that helps at all kao_dance.png Aa thanks I'll keep doing my best kao_heart.png Maybe at 30 you'll be able to speak anything! kao_shock.png Yeah, I get what you're saying cuz living in another country sounds a little scary. Even though before I wanted to live in Japan, I have second thoughts now and instead I might just visit also! kao_sorry.png Oh, but even if you don't still want to move here, I definitely recommend visiting America sometime at least once! It's a really cool place, and if you're ever planning a trip here, I'll help to answer any questions you have kao_drink.png Also your idea about writing down the news articles sounds like a good one! You could even try to highlight different parts of the sentences kao_punch.png
Yeah I know that they are on Crunchyroll but I dont plan to get a subscription kao_sorry.png I had so luck with free version Crunchyroll twice, because I could watch re:zero there (on PC) and just skip the ads for some reason! Or there were only few ads, I don't remember kao_think.png And later I started S5 of my hero academia on my ipad on Crunchyroll web and I'm sure there I could skip the ads! That was nicekao_sassy.png But now... I can't watch on my iPad in web anymore and the amount of ads.... unbearable!!! Thank you so much! Actually, I've been in the US and Canada when I was 5! I can remember it pretty well though but not the cities I was in... except Chicago! I also visited a big skyscraper with a glass floor kao_think.pngIn which part of America do you live? Someday I would like to visit California and Florida and other nice states.thanks for the advice! I will try highlighting it. It will surely be helpful to understand the sentence betterkao_punch.png

Ikr! The amount of ads on free Crunchyroll is way too crazy! kao_shocking.png

That's cool you got to visit Chicago and even Canada too! kao_sparkles.png What kind of cool things to do does Germany have? kao_yoroshiku.png Me, I live in the state of Ohio, which is to the east of Chicago (2 states to the right), it isn't the biggest for tourism tho but at least it's pretty chill and the people are nice as long (at least if you're in a more rural area I think)kao_drink.png

Also yeah, it sucks that a lot of sites have the region issue. I'd like to try watching anime on a Japanese streaming site but (a) Idk what people even use over there (maybe @TheFallenHawk knows?) and (b) it probably won't work in the US again due to region issues or card issues.kao_rocking.png

I've had issues before with my American card not being accepted to pay for Japanese services so I couldn't use them, even if they were technically available to the USkao_sorry.png

I lived in Missouri, and the only real things to remember about Missouri is the arch in Saint Louis (one of the most dangerous cities, don't recommend cos just driving through can be terrifying) and then the city of Branson has a bunch of attractions and stuff but for all that it feels like most people don't know about it and wonder what goes on there kao_shiawase.png

Most people just record it when it comes on normal television I think kao_think.png I don't think they have much of an anime streaming platform, the one I saw you had to pay for everything past episode one so it wasn't great.. of course there's Netflix and Disney and Amazon Prime here but those are all subscription anyways kao_drink.png

Dang, that sounds pretty scary kao_shock.png the inner parts of cities in general are scary honestly, but that sounds like even more so. (Bet youre glad to be living in Japan now) huh, thats interesting about Branson tho

I went to Ohio twice this year one time to go to a funeral and the other time to get back from the east coast. One time we stayed at an air bnb in Dayton, and we went by where my great great grandparents apparently lived, but it must have been different when they lived there because it was kind of creepykao_drool.png A lot of houses were literally in shambles and the gas station was seedy and like there were these people riding halfway out of a car and shouting idk it was weird. Otherwise my great grandma lived in Akron but otherwise I don't have much experience of Ohio
