Hello! I specifically cannot understand the bolden/underlined part. What is the goal of the message? I think it said something about rumors. I can understand some of the words but I cannot understand it as a whole. Please help. Thanks!
What term do we want to use for renshuu’s dictionary? 辞書(じしょ) works for vocabulary, but what about kanji, grammar and sentences? Could we get away with 字書(じしょ), 文法書(ぶんぽうしょ) and 例文書?
I submitted a few mixed-language “translations” just so that the terminology for Focused Reviews would be the same everywhere. I hope this isn’t a problem.
I’m thinking that for kanji parts (not the radical), 部品 would be a better translation than 部分. It would mean changing some already approved translations, though. Agree/disagree?
I’m struggling with the Word term “object” because I don’t know how it is used. Would a grammatical term like 直接目的語 be the right choice, or should it be something like 客観, 物象, 目的, or 塵?
Object is only used in about ten words: 筋斗雲, 緊箍児, ハープーン, ライトセーバー, モンスターボール, カチューシャ, ゲルググ, ニビル, モビルスーツ, タケコプター. Imaginary object 架空の物 works for everything except カチューシャ, but that entry has other issues, so I guess I’ll go with that.
I would also like suggestions for how to translate “service.” サービス doesn’t seem right, as it’s mostly used for rail service and internet services, not freebies or favors. 便?
