Okay. Question time.
I was playing quick draw and wrote it perfectly. It was wrong!! Well, that's what it said. I don't know why!! I did another one (katakana) and it said it was correct. Can somebody help me with this?
Thanks.
A video or screenshot of the issue would help me figure out what was going on. Thanks!
I'm afraid I cannot do that, for some reason my phone will not let me do it. Sorry.
but, whoever can help me without that, well how thankful I'd be!

Which quick draw game were you playing and which settings did you use? I can try to replicate the game settings to see if I encounter the same issue.
Writing style normal, gentle grading, a lot of time, stroke direction on
Katakana-kawa, let me see the settings.
Did you have issues with drawing a specific kana? (Like the level with ア for example.)
Alright, I just tested it with the same settings and had the same issue with the very first kana I had to draw, and then the issue resolved itself after I failed to draw that kana. I will be submitting two error report videos that show the screen taps
My suggestion would maybe be to do a different setting. It may just be some weird bug.
Also, make sure the setting is surly at gentle. You might mistake it and put strict instead.
Are you really sure you are drawing all the strokes in the right direction? If that’s not the problem, I suspect it’s a timing issue with the first character. Make sure Michael knows what device you’re using.

I tested and drew the strokes the proper way and it still seemed bugged, but only with the first character in the game. I'm using an Android phone on the new server, if that helps.
Thanks for all the updates - I haven't had a chance to look into this, but I will.
There is something I'd like to know for those of you who are having issues: does the issue only present itself after you make changes to the settings? For example, if you change them to the settings noted above, get the issue, then leave the game and start a new one (the new one would keep the old settings, so no need to make changes), does it still happen?
And yes, device model information is very helpful.
Thanks!

I just set the timer and the grading sliders to the middle and tested the same level, and I didn't get the same drawing error throughout the entire game. All my brush strokes registered perfectly, so I think it might be related to the settings Weird Al is using.
Edit: I just copied Weird Al's settings again and played another game, same level, and had no issues whatsoever. I'm a little bit lost now, to be honest. Maybe it's a temporary bug that fixes itself when you move the sliders around a bit.
I might have a vague idea of what's going on. I tried to play the same level again with some different settings (specifically "hide the brush stroke order" and normal timing and grading) and the kana stopped working again, and when the kana would flash red as a hint, it would visibly be much smaller than the drawing outline. I think the kana size may be out of alignment, but I'm not 100% certain.
I closed the game to comment on this forum and, when I came back and played with the same settings, the game had fixed itself and I had no problems.
Hmm. Does it happen every time? Or just once in a while?

It's honestly quite random. While testing, I've had it happen a few times in a row and resolve on its own for no apparent reason. I have noticed that the issue randomly happens during the first game after doing something else, or after resetting in the middle a functional game to change the settings.
We'll definitely need to nail down a "this causes it every single time" in order to fix it. Thanks again to everyone who is helping out with the info.
Yea.. I wonder why it is only happening sometimes. I hope this is resolved soon!
I just encountered the "icon shows up too small" issue again. I played one game normally and started playing the same level again and the kana was misaligned. The issue seems to happen when you play the same level more than once in a row, but I would appreciate it if someone else could test the game and provide their perspective, too. (I was using my personal settings for moderate time and slightly difficult grading, by the way.)
